Built around 1860 in the style of a Venetian palazzo and renovated in 2003 into 48 simple, natural, contemporay and comfortable hotel rooms and a restaurant. Privately owned and independantly run with an emphasis on friendliness, good food and thoughtful service.

We are a 20 minute drive from John Lennon Airport and a 7 minute walk to Lime Street Station and the shops.

Sitting pretty on one of the most exciting streets in Liverpool -1 minute either way from the city's iconic Cathedrals, down the road from the Everyman Theatre and Victora Gallery, across the road from the Philharmonic pub and Philharmonic Hall and around the corner from a National Trust Georgian house and until January 2009 along the way from the Le Corbusier exhibition in the Lutyens Crypt.
